Standard grade 8 bolt torque, 260+-30 ft lbs. Tighten to 260 then turn to properly bend lock to bolt head.

The specs I gave are from the Cat Service Manual for standard bolt torque specs. Bolt torque for the 3306 engine flywheel is 150+-20 ft lbs which is the torque for 5/8" bolts. The torque for 3/4" bolts is 265+- 35 ft lbs.

a 12-8T with 315? should it not be the bigger 318? as the 315 would have bean in the 112? my 12-7T run's a 4600

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
