Standard grade 8 bolt torque, 260+-30 ft lbs. Tighten to 260 then turn to properly bend lock to bolt head.
i found a chart on google that had 315 lb for a 3/4 in grade 8 Thanks for the reply. Done and torqued. Clutch back in and ready to reinstall engine. Yea !! going back together!
The specs I gave are from the Cat Service Manual for standard bolt torque specs. Bolt torque for the 3306 engine flywheel is 150+-20 ft lbs which is the torque for 5/8" bolts. The torque for 3/4" bolts is 265+- 35 ft lbs.
a 12-8T with 315? should it not be the bigger 318? as the 315 would have bean in the 112? my 12-7T run's a 4600
