As I was wondering through a Farmer Market with my wife came across a booth of military stuff. Being retired military myself I went in to see what was there. While rooting through shelves of stuff I came across a stack of Technical Manuals. At the bottom of the stack was TM5-3098. I could not help myself, I just had to have it. It is no use to me because I own a D4-7U, but it was military. It is dated, 13 March 1944. The cover reads as follows;
( TRACTOR, CRAWLER, DIESEL, 70 to 90-DBHP, STANDARD, CATERPILLAR D7, 74-IN. GAGE, WITH LeTOURNEAU WCK-7 ANGLEDOZER AND R-7 POWER CONTROL UNIT. (Tractor Serial Numbers 7M5828 and 4T1 and UP.) ).
If anyone is interested in it, let me know what it is worth to you.
