This might not be a lot of help but i helped Dad install the Mag on his Diesel 35, there are 2 options that are 180 Digrees apart, if you get it wrong switch the plug wires. Not a high tech method but youll be able to figure it out
Wait! the mag isn't the same internally as a D2/D4 mag, if you look at the breaker cam, the points open at 90 deg apart, not 180, so switching the plug wires wouldn't work. It should use a GV-2Q, RC-2Q, or its equal. I think the bosch would be a 4/2-180 ?
If the wife hadn't just borrowed my pickup and run off in it, I'd come over and help you. I'd like to see how your collection is coming along anyway.
Here's the best I can do at the moment.

The Eisemann is an RC-2Q model.
If it's a Bosch the model is a MJK 4/2 180 C109.
From the info I have it appears the early D6's, 7's, 8's, D40, D50, D75, D35
All use the same type (inverted) installation.
The info I'm posting is for the 9G-D7.
I'm going by parts book and manual info so please correct if wrong.
