Hi
Anyone have any pictures of where the serial numbers are on a thirty the rear fenders are gone along with the brass plates or have any idea how I can get a rough year built

But not always. I have looked on several which had the brass plates missing and no stamp showing where Jeff indicates. I think some were stamped and others not. I stand to be corrected but that is my experience.

some times on top of the flywheel cover the older 30's had the snakepit exhaust manifold and the small track recoil springs some times a casting date

Look behind #4 cylinder on top of the housing, mine has a date stamp there.
