Saw an article that was very interesting about the re-invention of the wheel:

I think the futuristic suspension in the video is as interesting as the shape shifting tracks. Definitely inspired by the Transformer cartoons!

I can see applications in the military, agriculture, and construction technology. All of them are very common sense ideas, including the video game navigation system.
