In this hobby I have heard the term “show mom” and “tractor grandma” to refer to the family-like relationships we form in our time together. Sad to say this weekend we lost someone who I would call a “tractor uncle”. Terry Welch was my link between my Cat Ten and Al Smith, the ACMOC founder who owned it before me. Terry was a trusted advisor on chapter leadership matters and a relentless supporter of the hobby. He will be greatly missed. I looked through my pictures and could only find one of Terry, among a couple others we lost too soon; Willie and George Howard. Hopefully they are now together talking old Cats
