Steve Weaver aka side seat can make you a nice new grill, use search function to find his post ,good luck on the fan shrouds

I wish Steve Weaver would come on this Forum every now and then, or put a advert in the magazine about what parts he makes and the prices, I'm curious to see what he makes and may be a potential customer.

I've just spent 10 minutes searching for Steve Weaver here in the Discussion section and the Parts Source section and didn't find anything except his name mentioned by Tom Madden in a old thread, perhaps a story could be written for the ACMOC magazine about what he is doing.

search by user in advance search, type in the first few letters and a list of possibilities will pop up. For side-seat I found 43 post

Send him a PM and he will likely reply, he made all the sheet metal for my small 15, nicely done. His business in metal fab work, he makes old cat parts when work is slow

I reckon it would be a good story for the ACMOC magazine, seeing what he is doing there.

I'm pretty sure Steve is still in Pittsburgh PA. (last I knew anyway) They build and restore stain glass windows. His metal fab business was always a side job. Plus time with his own family...that is why you needed to give him lots of lead time. Steve does excellent work and is full of knowledge on machinery.

Last I talked to Steve he had lost his father. He does do a great job but like said it is just a side thing for him when he has time. As many of you here know just how hard it is to run one business let alone two LOL

Here are some pictures of the sheetmetal work he did for my Ten. Excellent work and great attention to detail.

Thanks for the info on Steve over in Pittsburgh, and the good photo's, but who is the gentleman in California near Brewzer who is also making tinwork for the old Cats?

I have posted this before for everyone's information. Scott Flint (831) 636-8986 Hollister, CA is taking orders for 10 and 15 side curtains. He is already making big 20 and 22 side curtains and will be making the 10s and 15s as soon as he gets some more tooling. It is not something that is practical or probably even possible to have someone make one set. He has many thousands of dollars invested in the machinery and tooling to make these. I have seen his product and it is of high quality. - Wally"
