5 roller U/C.
Hi, Folks.
Looks like it might keep a body nimble climbing in and out of it - could be good for the figure.
Just my 0.02.
I looked at one here in Kansas, but the old guy was too proud to let it go.
I bought this and was wondering if anyone had literature on the loader, e.g. parts catalog, operator's manual, service reference
Neil, Finally you found your 5 roller frames and solid idlers.
Sorry I have no idea of where you will find information on Teale & Co. But I must ask what is under the hood that it needs to be custom built by Teale I would guess. Just hydraulic parts? The frame on the back I am guessing was to be a backhoe mount? From way over here it looks a bit weak. Any history to say they ever had a hoe mounted ,let alone dug even one hole with it.
The loader itself looks very nice as compared to other loaders of the time this must of been designed in. Hopefully the Cat wakes up and is ready for play without having to many issues. Nice save.
This is the only thing I have on the Teale Loader...

Thanks for your responses. The seller says it does run but the steering is weak. We'll see. Clayton's going to go pick it up and use it to find out what's weak on it. The bracket on the back does not look standard, either for Cat or Teale I'm guessing. The pump is up front but we'll find out if it's a Cat control or some other brand. I'm looking forward to getting Clayton's report on it. That rear bracket and the canopy will be the first things to go
Side-seat - ha, yes, except that 5 roller frame is no good to my 5U because that won't fit behind the 2S dozer. I like that it's electric start since I don't have one of those and I'll be interested in how well it starts. Lots to consider, but I bought it because I like the look/design of the loader. It looks compact and possibly efficient
Hi Ray, the heavy duty hood is to provide added fall protection for materials out of the bucket. My buddy's HT4 has the same heavy (3/16" ?) type of hood. They're also crowned so the material can roll off. Just regular D2 parts underneath
