The parts book I have for the HT is 18,000 lbs.which is the 7U D4 tractor with the necessary changes to make it into a loader tractor and the loader attachment which makes up the HT 4 loader.

The specs I got was right from an HT4 parts book from Cat that we used at the dealer and also it said the loader weighted 5,850 lbs. and both at the 18,000 lbs. There is a few different size buckets that were available according to the book so that could make just a little difference in weight.

Hi SJ,
The T4 is the old cable operated Traxcavator. The HT4 came later.

I have a Cat Parts Catalog for T4-101 to T42849 (cable rig) and Cat refers to it as a T4 Shovel. Is there any difference?

The 7U4574 is the tractor serial number. Should be another number on the loader frame.
