woke up today and all i had to do was start the SCREAMING FORD and hook it up to the sleigh trailer, that should take less then an hour with a coffee included. the SCREAMING FORD was plugged in since 6:00 pm the night before and all it do was grunt instead of turning over and running. the block heater quit sometime in the night so the engine was cold and at -28C with a wind chill of -37C, the ford will not be starting. so out comes the 922 loader form it's heated shed and drags the SCREAMING FORD to the shop. (we don't lift the back end because it breaks the springs in the cold weather and only one axle has maxi pots) i put the propnae heater underneath and tarp the front so the engine gets the heat. within 4 hours the beast is runing but won't air up, so i pour methal hydra down the air lines and chase out the ice. oh the fun that was. then i hook up the trailer and get stuck so i push everything out with the 922 loader (good thing it is in the heated shed and ready to go on a moments notice) so 8 hours of fun and i have the trailer hooked to the SCREAMING FORD, oh the joys of living in the GREAT WHITE NORTH.

Hi, KoO.
The company I work for is looking for an operator for either a Cat 771D or a 773B dump truck working in a blue rock quarry. NO heaters required. Air-conditioned cabs, radio, UHF, air suspension seats, full ROPS cabs AND - - - - wait for it - - - - NO ice to break through.

Phone +61 (07) **** **** and ask for Steve or Paul.

Course, yer would have to have a shave on account of the fire hazard and the face fungus interfering with your view and turning the steering wheel.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!! Right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can just see the KoO moving way DownUnder to avoid being able to whinge about dysfunctional engine heaters.

LOL.

Kwitchyerbitchin.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
