George Logue auction site - Williamsport, PA

We purchased a 14AD8 that was inoperable & was not sold in the auction - missing the motor.
A week later I returned with 2 trucks from 8 hours away only to find that the tractor had parts stolen off of it! The tractor was complete just missing the motor, but not anymore!

Stolen Items Include:
Hood

Dash Board

Exhaust manifold

Intake manifold

Air cleaner extension

This tractor was not purchased to junk, it was purchased to fix and use!

With the amount of money it takes to save this equipment so it doesn't go to scrap, its a real shame that things like this happen. Especially around people that share the same interest as you do. We all invest our money and time into these machines for enjoyment not necessarily just for a dollar or a profit.

I hope that every time the person who took these items off this tractor - looks at them or uses them or possibly even sells them - knows that their deal paid off for them by stealing.

If anyone has information about this or if the person who took the items wants to return them, please contact me.

Im sorry to hear of your loss...but I can't undestand how it would happen..The owners son Bob was there
loading items and checking the slips..and the other guy Rocky loading would be keeping a eye
on the goings on... Did you talk with Bob on this? just my 0.02 worth.

Yes I talked to Bob & to Rocky. Neither of them saw anything. The tractor was not sitting with the other stuff, it was sitting approx a 1/4 of a mile away.

The guy I purchased it from talked to someone who had wanted to purchase some items off the tractor but he wouldn't sell them because he had already made a deal with me.

Someone could have easily gone back there while Bob & Rocky were busy.

Hi Doug... sounds like you have answered your own question.. I knew Logue had a 14-A someplace, never knew where it was....seems like that other party came back and helped himself..where did it
sit? was it on his property? that didn't take five minutes to remove all those parts...hopefully you will
find out more on this..Good luck D46U P.S. on a lighter note.. I watched his 14-A push along side of a new D-6 high drive long time ago..the new 6 could not out push the ole' 8..He rented it to prove his point...great stuff!

Sorry to hear that some POS stole parts off a machine that was not his. He knew it belonged to someone, but his sense of right and wrong are out of whack in his pee brain sized head. It's too bad we have "Human Beings" (and I use this term very very loosely) in speaking about this guy, among the rest of us. "Payback" is a B.... so they say and hopefully he will get his.
