I need to replace the pony motor starter switch (push button) that is mounted on the starter of a D47U. Is this an original Cat design or a modification? Is there a part no. that goes with the switch?

If the switch that's mounted directly on the starter motor, I believe that's the older style that switches battery power directly to the starter (no solenoid). If it's remote from the starter motor it operates a solenoid on the starter and is the newer style. Sorry, don't have numbers for either one as the parts book I have doesn't show 'em.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
