In the past, there has been quite a bit of discussion about what wrench to use to remove the sprocket retaining nut on a D2. I recently bought one from ebay and they have (7) more left. It is a 2 7/8" offset slugging wrench. The ebay number is 290308760076. If you offer $70.00, I am sure they will accept the offer. This wrench is the real deal for removing even the most stubborn nuts.

oldparker has it nailed. Those slugger wrenches are the real deal for big tight nuts, and an oilfield favorite. You can wail on them with a 14 pounder and they won't flinch.
In addition, the Wright brand is the military supply brand of OTC. They are just OTC with a different name. I have 3 sets of Wright 3/4" drive socket sets .. they are ex-'Nam Military socket sets, and the cream of my tool collection.

Remember that OTC were the preferred brand of Cat tools in the 40's and 50's and they came with a lifetime guarantee.

Even if your workshop burnt to the ground, OTC would take your tools and repair/heat-treat/recondition them, to as-new again, for only the cost of tool transportation - this is outlined in the Service Magazine of July 28, 1945. Can you imagine any tool company doing this, nowadays??
