Hey Neighbors, what would the number be for the sparkplugs on a 1934 Diesel Thirtyfive's pony, and are they the same for all ponies? Thanks much!

What does it measure???? Most those old ponies used a 7/8 in. dia. x 18 tpi x 5/8 in. reach spark plug (originally a Champion #1 Commercial) current replacement is a Autolite #3076 (same as Model A Ford).
If it's really early it may be possible to run into tapered pipe thread spark plugs.

Thanks OM! I'm a step closer now. My pony turns but no spark so checking my mag is next.

OM,

I thought the ponies used the Autolite 386, Champion D16, 18mm plugs. The only thing that I have that takes the 7/8" plugs are the CAT 15's and 10's main engine.

Did they have pony heads that took the larger plugs?

Thanks,

John

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
