CR, in the second set of pictures there and the 2nd. & 3rd. wide front end yellow John Deere tractors there aren,t they the old L or LA model. We had a JD dealer here 60 years or more ago and he sold lots of them around here for small farms or a 2nd. tractor for garden work etc. I haven,t seen one around for a long time but I guess I,ve saw some at old tractor shows and a local fair here has a small antique equip. shed with old stuff in it.

Thanks for posting CR----------looks like a huge collection of equipment is all sizes, shapes and colors. (I had presumed it to be more Caterpillar, Holt and Best oriented)

Man----that 660 scraper makes a "statement"-------sorta makes the D9 pushing it resemble a D2.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures-----hope everybody is having fun!!!

SJ I believe it is an LI, my neighbor has a numbers matching (1939?) LI that we are going to work on this winter. My family had a LA in the 40's for cutting and raking hay that they traded for a 40 that I still have.
Lots of small tractors there that would be perfect for my backyard.
more pics in the next few days, have to download, resize etc

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
