I might have a chance to pick up this big old chunk of metal cheap. I think is a D-364. V-8 5.50?/bore X8"stroke. Its got oil in the sump, it seems to be OK, someone stripped the easy wires of it and cut one fuel line at the injector, other than that everything seems ok. It did run very well according to the owner who used it to power a gravel plant. It has not run in about 10 years or so.

I would like to know more about them, what was the main use such as equipment installed in etc., years of build, how they were thought of etc. I figure some guys here will know. I would only use it it for the fun of running it. The generator would just be left on it for something to spin. I would not re-wire anything like that, just enough to get it starting and shutting off. The throttle control is free and easy. I just need one new fuel line by the looks of it.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
