It was snowing yesterday and thought it would be some fun to take this old AC L for a walk. Most of it's working life was with a V plow on it. Sadly by the time I got it, the plow was gone. while out for the 'walk', I thought I would snap a pic.
here it is.

That's a neat machine. I knew I had seen a V plow for sale on my Craigslist searching, this would look good on it?!?! Thanks.

Dependzic, no heat in the cab, but had all the hydraulic controls in there and the transmission and het off the engine so after it got warmed up some, it was probably not to bad in there.

The old crawler does run nice.

As for the pic, it was just a quick stop and grabbed the little cell phone camera and snapped it. ... then I did a walk around little vid that was very poor in quality and poorly managed by the videoman... me.

Bryan, the snow plow would look more like this...

At the gate to the Rock River Thresheree grounds, is a snowplow that came off of an Allis-Chalmers/Monarch tractor.

Art, I have seen that snow plow there and it goes with the Monarch 75 thats there too...
I have this one Wausau Iron works snowplow model 75 which is some different than what this L had

the one in the pic was raised and lowered by chain hoists from what I can see, some of the lifting structure was removed before I got it.
The old Monarch was suppose to have a wooden cab on it, but somebody put a truck cab on instead.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
