We had about 12-15 inches of snow last night. I just got the d4 back together. I rebuilt the steering clutches.

Good looking D4, glad you got it back together so you could play in the snow. Where did you end up finding your D4?

This was my grandads D4. He passed away in 1998. I fixed it back up and use it as a sideline. I am a tractor mechanic Monday thru Friday.

The snow looks like fun with a Cat! Wish I had my D2 at home to push a little of the white stuff too! GWH

This is the only other pic I took today, it was 10 degrees out. I have rebuilt the steering clutches, new tracks, rollers. My grandad farmed and used this dozer to make a living. When I was 16 I went around doing jobs with him using a D4 5T series. I have it to. I repainted the old girl to about 10 years ago. You can't beat these old cats. If somebody wants to see more pics I will take some more when the weather clears up.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
