My projects tend to progress very slowly. The Thirty has been in the shop since last November for what was to be a couple-of-months project to reline the brakes and go through the master clutch. Ten months later, I am still playing with it. I ended up working on a lot of other small projects that needed to be looked at. Servicing the generator, a new thrust bearing in the governor, along with a new shaft between the finger and the control rod on top of the timing gear case. Reworking the starting crank shaft. New spark plug wires with new tubes and holders, and many more small projects. At this point, the radiator is back on, the transmission case is cleaned out, and the relined brake bands are back in, along with the reverse idler, and a new drawbar plate has been made. The material I want to reline the clutch is on an 8-week backorder. That will give me more time to fix a couple of other items that have popped up and make some more parts.
