Service Recognition

I stopped into the ACMOC office today to do a little Christmas shopping and to recognize two great behind the scenes workers for the club. 

Being local to the club office, I have had the pleasure to work with Mary Clark on countless occasions including committee meetings, decal kit requests, and multiple office moves.  Weather it was 100 degrees at a tractor show or below freezing in the warehouse, Mary has always had a positive attitude and great rapport with members.  A big thanks to Mary for all she has done for the club and for Chapter 20 over her 10 years of service.  

Also wanted to recognize Julie Russell at AdCo for 15 years of her and her team helping publish the club magazine.  Today was actually my first time meeting Julie face-to-face, but I have interacted with her on many occasions on magazine content.  ACMOC is clearly a passion project for her and she has great affection for the Antique Caterpillar community.  

I know most members don't get to interact with either of them in person, but here in Chapter 20 we are fortunate to be able to.  I was grateful to be able to present these tokens of recognition to them.

Thanks Mary and Julie for your dedicated service and thanks Dave for recognizing them. My experience with Mary is that she is a very dedicated member of our group.

Yer forgort ter add that Mary hazza sensa hyoomer. I hadda fairly lengthy phone conversation with her recently trying to get an online payment issue sorted out. Between us we achieved that AND hadda few laughs as well.

Thats great recognition to a couple of tireless workers in the background in support of the clubs effort and members, thanks for your service ladies and well done Dave Tallon!

the club i was part of yrs ago did a similar thing for some people who helped us by donating thier time and equipment to a project we did to save some local history from the scrap yard. a simple bit of bush timber burnished and varnished with a metal medallion recessed on it goes over real well. our had the club logo on the front and it was engraved with their name on the back.

and using a old track link its elevates it a a little.
