Buddy bought a place and this dozer was left on it. He was told it was a D7, but he is unsure. Would like to see it running and it's in great shape. Where do we start to identify this thing. Where would a serial Location be and does anyone recognize what it is. Obviously it's a CAT.

3T series D7. Serial # plate should be on upper left hand corner of rear frame of tractor. Another make of straight blade though, Cat hydraulics and cylinders.
