Hi

Could someone help me with a pictures of a Scraper 70 - 1953 ??
Do I need photos of the front, back, left and right sides?
I want to build a miniature of it, but I don't have any drawings that I can build on.
Thank you

Actually there were 2 models . On the late 40's (8C series ) the rear wheels were supported only at the inside . On the early 50 model ( 3W series ) they were supported at both sides . So , let us know what type you are going to make .

Might check sites such as machinery trader and similar. They often have several pictures of the ones for sale with different views.

Hi, cat#11.
I have just had a wander through my library of photos and came up empty = #60s and #80s but no 70s.

How-wevver, a Google search for them using "Caterpillar #70 drawn cable scraper images" did turn up these results:

https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=-MhJXsCsEv_O0PEP8KmBkAw&q=Caterpillar+%2370+drawn+cable+scraper+images&oq=Caterpillar+%2370+drawn+cable+scraper+images&gs_l=psy-ab.3...3206.23810..27294...3.0..0.698.6394.4j36j2j1j0j1......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i131j0j0i22i30j0i22i10i30j33i160j33i299j33i22i29i30.XCL35RzIODs&ved=0ahUKEwjAiLv2ldfnAhV_JzQIHfBUAMIQ4dUDCAc&uact=5

Hope it helps.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
