Yes, indeed, Betty! Norm was a darned nice fellow. A wonderful sense of humor! He and Al Smith slept in the same room at the Pennsylvania show, and both being of hard hearing, you could hear them all down the hall. A very nice fellow. My (our) condolences to the family. GWH
Always tough to hear of another's passing. My condolences to the family and other friendships that will suffer his loss.

I think I will miss riding with him on his golf cart and listen to his stories. Yes he will be missed.

Iam sorry to hear about Norm ,He was the only one that could get ahead of Al Smith and keep him in line. Do you know when his service is and where? The tractor shows will not be the same. Here is a picture of Norm and his son Bill and the Presedent of Cat in Norm's grader at the Cederfalls Show in 2003![]()
Norm was a great guy and knew how to agitate the agitator(Al Smith). He will be greatly missed.

Norm was indeed a great guy. His smile, humor, and constant banter with Al Smith definitely kept you in good spirits and entertained at any show. Norm will surely be missed. To Bill and family, you and Norm are in our thoughts.
