Gentlemen,
I know this isn't a CAT, but what do you reckon it is?
Thanks,James

Farmall....can't tell for sure on Model, maybe an F30 from the oil filtler location.

Looks pretty complete and has a can on the exhaust so it might be ok.
Not many of them still have the steel wheels...most had the spokes cut and rubber tire rims welded on. (I've got an old fixture at home designed to do just that)

The Farmall Regular had open steering gears. My buddy has one (he's a John Deere guy. That regular could be mine. Nah, I have too many projects already:lol😊.

That's a "duck bill" F-30. You can tell by the shape of the steering gear and the way the rear wheels bolt on. That would make it an early one. I haven't seen very many of those around.

definently a duckbill f-30. '32 to early '34 you can tell by the depth of the fuel tank, it comes down even with the oil filter base on the block- F20's are about half way down the oil filter its self. Also you cant see the nut on the rear hub assembly but the bolts are the bigger style like an F30, F20's are half inch.
The duckbill F30's and F20's are just essentially a regular steering design with a gear case instead of open. Also if it has steel on the front i've seen those wheels alone bring $750 for a nice set.

The duckbill F20's use regular steering shaft, I found this out the hard way!:jaw:
