Lance, I did know of Mal Whybro at Badgingaara unfortuantly I only heard today from an old Wigmores guy I worked with that he passed away
Thank You Stuss and RossM for telling Me that Mal had Passed away . The day my Wife and I called in We had to have a Cuppa , then the inspection which took some time ,he showed me his spare parts etc. I noticed he had 2 of those special Cat tools for removing the injectors from D2'S and I gingerly asked would He Sell Me one . He picked one up and put it My hand ,I insisted on paying for it , but no way would he take anything for it ,it proudly sits in front of my tool cupboard now .
Following the Look around He insisted We stop for Lunch , so He Peeled the Veges , Cooked us a Great Lunch with Sweets to Follow .
Deanna and I still talk about that visit , and are indeed sorry to see to him pass on . I can't recall his age But it was Close to 80 .
He was one of the true Pioneers of that area as He selected His Virgin Block when he was a Young Fellow and lived on it all his Life .
I am Glad his Nephew is looking after His Collection , I recall Him saying that He would be Looking after it ,after he goes . Vale to a Lovely Chap and great Cat man
Thanks Fellows LJ
