The Rock River Thresheree and ACMOC Chapter 4 are presenting their first Rock and Dirt show on June 2nd and 3rd 2007 at Thresheree Park in Edgerton Wisconsin. We will be building a gravel road in the park. Working and static dispays are welcome. There will be tractor pulling, flea market, and antique trucks. Terry Welch(aka tw) is the chairman. The park is located 4 miles north of Rt 14 on rt. 51 between Edgerton and Janesville Wisconsin.
Hope to see some of you there.

Thanks for the post Chuck.
This will be our first event with hopes of this being a on going show. We will be building two roads, and a walking path. All equipment is welcome for working or display. This will be a Chapter 4 playday. There will be a couple of steam traction engines that will be out and I have been told by the owners "they want to help and is there anything they can pull". So if you have something they can pull please bring it a good Photo opertunity. We have one to two dump trucks to use and could use a couple more. I am hoping to get some working pull type graders and there will be powered ones as well.
You will need to use the Cox Rd entrance to the park. the address for Mapquest is 51 E Cox Rd. Edgerton WI. For more Info you can contact me at 262-215-4310 or e-mail me at [email protected]
As time gets closer I will post a list of equipment that we know will be there.
As I write this the rock for the road work is being delivered.
Thanks
Terry

I moved my scraper to the show Sunday and Alan Smith brought a 955. We also pulled out a Western half track bottom dump wagon and a small belt driven rock crusher. Is anyone planning on coming?

Hi, I'm the new guy who probably won't have his D2 running by then. Maybe???? I'll be there searching and asking for advice on stuck steering clutches and stuff in general.

All are welcome, equipment or not. Come have a good time. As for equipment at this point, Here is what I have been told is coming in and there. Al's 955L, Chuck's D-2 and scraper, Mark hopes to be bringing his 30 and scraper, Bill has a 12 grader on site. He might also bring his 6 and Dad's grader. We have a dresser TD15 and will have a TD8 also. I was told that we might have a Allis grader. We will have the clubs Allis HD15 out. Hopefully the Cletrac, The Cat 20(YES IT RUNS).I have invited some of the local area collectors. Will see what shows up. We have out a crusher that is in need of restoration. A small crusher belonging to a club member, along with the dump wagon Chuck talked about. If you are in the area and would like to stop by please do. If you would like to bring something in to work or display please do. The hopes are to see if we can make this a yearly event.

Store your toys around Elkorn? I heard someone has bought a "new" D2-5U and is looking for parts, I was in the NAPA dealer right after the other guy.
I bleed the diesel system via an inner tube pressure. Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning the pony carb on my 5j.

I was out to the show grounds yesterday helping set up. We had a large storm come through early last night. It is wet but drying out. I hope to see some of you there. Time to get out to the park. We had a couple of pieces come in yesterday and a few more today to come in.
