road grader

i have a D2 5J ag tractor and I'm looking for a period correct road grader to pull with it, I am looking at one serial number is 3D1217 can anyone tell me year, were made, i don't know anything much about them. Thanks

Here is an excellent example of how our club works and the benefits that fall to those who join up. Much good discussion is being made on another thread "Joining or rejoining the club." Here we have two MEMBERS asking and receiving information (in a mere 23 minutes!) from one another. Is that not worth something?

PS- Another thing that I value is to meet another member here on the BB then have an occasion to be passing through on a trip and stop by for a visit. I once stopped by "Skinners" ranch and was graciously give a tour of his collection! Those visits have been very rewarding for me over the years. Without the club, that would never happen.
