I still think that is a Letourneau. there is a brochure for sale on ebay that looks the same except for the tires and cylinder.

I’m going with the LeT concept. I think it's a Model K30 which of course has been modified. Having said that, there are some features that don’t look like the Model K30, but, they could have been factory changes or improvements over time, which are not shown in my LeT literature.

UP DATE: Farther investigation of the archives.

In viewing other literature, it may will be a Southwest. Some of the features mentioned above appear to be on the pull ripper made by the Southwest Welding and Manufacturing Company of Alhambra, California back in the mid 40’s. So I guess we have a choice. Have a Merry Christmas.

I did a little research on the Southwest Construction company. I looked on Ebay and this was on there.http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960s-SOUTHWEST-CABLE-RIPPERS-SALE-BROCHURE-/290810306083?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D4414024357092627036%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D290810306083%26.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
