RH helical cut pinion 42 Mt starter needed

The 42MT positorque (or Spragg?) drive gear can be replaced with a new gear - G2751PT was available last year from VanBergen and Greener in Illinois 800-621-3889 for $21.35.

Have you had any luck taking one of those torque drives apart? I wasn't able to remove that nasty snap ring!!!!
