Me thinks it's time to stuff it. I am finally done "revitalizing" my pony. I'm not calling it a rebuild since I got lucky and didn't actually have to replace anything internally. She's ported, polished, and performed some race car magic inside and managed to keep everything within acceptable tolerance. It's a little loose but should be just fine. Maybe I'll get to push some snow with the old girl yet.

I figure I'll be safe and wait till the pony is in the tractor to install the valve. My luck I'd destroy it somehow during install.

Thanks dude. I just hope it runs as good as it looks. Wish I had the money for different paint tho. I don't like the bright yellow but I had a couple cans laying around so what the heck. Better than rust.

In the 4th pic I noticed there is a plug where the crankcase breather should go, to the bottom right of the mag, just wondered if you knew about that?

That breather would be a neat little project for my lathe if it wasn't in a million pieces scattered about. I guess for now I'll just rig up a breather from a differential or something. Think I'll sit with my coffee, maybe twist up a rooter and "think" on it for a bit.

Not similar at all. The correct one allows excess fuel to leak out, but keeps air from freely entering the manifold ( that would make it run lean) it also has a felt pad filter to keep dirt out.
