Hi, Dan.
Reversing the fan does not give the same air flow that working the designed way does. You can get 'blower' fans that are designed to push air out through the front of the radiator and you can also get reversible fans where the blades are flat and can be turned from sucking to blowing.

Hope this helps.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

reversible fans are fairly popular in canada. check to see if your 17a already has one installed. you can reverse the fan pitch and use it as a blower fan in the summer, and a sucker fan in the winter to help keep you warm. there is usually a special tool you are supposed to be able to slide through a hole in the hardnose, and spin the blades around after pushing them in against a spring. i had the hood off my 9u and managed to spin all the fan blades around using my hands a pair of water pump pliers (channel locks)

All these cozy cabs now with the stereo, ac, heat, pressurized, soundproof, uv ray protection, filtered air, probably fart smell proof too, oh well at least the operator can go home smelling all pretty still for the wifey poo. lol
