After about two years of work reached a situation
Tractor driving, but there is no way to run the steering clutch
After several unsuccessful attempts to dismantle
Clutch is stuck in a block of rust both sides

We found the museum storeroom similar tractor

Currently intention to replace the rear section and the control lever
So the result will be a regular D2 (the one with the gas tank behind the seat)
I checked the books
And on tractors
There are all devices / holes / screwing
To make this change

Am I missing an important detail ?

If you have an extra D2 from the transmission back, you could just swap engines. I think I'd work on keeping the orchard model and fixing the steering clutches instead. My reasoning is that an orchard model would be more unique than a regular D2, but that's just my thinking.

Pulling the finals with frozen steering clutches isn't a lot of fun, I'm at 50% for getting 'em off without breaking the brake drums.
