I am not a believer in the hour meter you find on most old Cat tractors. Why they should not last longer I don't know, but the ones I am around don't work.
But the draw bar on a tractor without a blade is hard to argue against. As well as pivot points on levers and the deck plate and brake pedals.
Nice looking tractor. May the rust no be to hard to overcome.
Thanks for the comments, I would also question the hour meter but I have no one that I'm aware of that knows much about its past other than I know someone took the top of trans cover off for some reason and never buttoned it back up. Yes both serial number plates are the same. Since the cover is off not sure about play in the steering clutch levers but they are fairly tight in the housing.
