Would you use a hydraulic press to remove and install the bushings in track rollers?
To lubricate rollers for operation use 10-40, 20-50 or heavier oil as manual says use crankcase oil?
You planning on making all new bushings?
Its easier to bore them out, then make bigger shafts.
A press will take them out with no problem.
I've had some that almost dropped out and a few that need to be pushed the whole way.
As far as lubricant, most guys use a sticky semi-fluid lubricant to lube rollers.
Reason is that the Lube Schedule for that machine, I believe was lube Rollers every 10 hours of operation, Maybe 20?
They don't have good Seals so the frequent lubrication would push dirt out while oil leaked out.
As an example I have a Twenty-Two manual that states use 90W Trans Oil in the Rollers.
All these machines are now collectors, so you don't want Motor oil or Trans oil leaking on your floor, trailer and some Show grounds just because the Manual stated to use Motor oil!
