We just finished the first 18,000 hr overhaul on one of our Wartsila DF50 V18 engines at the power plant I work at (We have 10). I know it's not Cat but I took a lot of pics and I can post them if there is any interest. I was involved with every step... always thought Cat stuff was big but these things need a crane for just about every part even the injectors! Wrist pins.. 600 lbs! So let me know.

DF50 V-18's are pretty big!
What Country are they located in?

I just got done doing pre-Commissioning checks on 8 GE EVO V250's 3.5 Mega-Watt for a power plant in American Samoa.
They have 2 power plants there.

Here's a link to my FB pictures... Tired of jacking around with Windows 8 to get the pics uploaded! I've got about 200 on the computer just got to figure out how to upload them. Should wet your appetite. The top pics are of the rebuild. The rest are Caterpillar, Burning Man, Racing. They may amuse or interest some.
