I own a RD4 and I'm having the head overhauled with new valves, guides and inserts.
The fellow who is doing the work on the head asked me what the valve recession is. I think this means how much above or below the the head the valves should be.
My question is, if this is the correct assumtion, does anyone know the correct amount of recession, plus or minus ??

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
