i have an r2 crawler, number 4j1026. the engine is stuck, but does not have any water in the oil. it rolls on its tracks, and tows well behind my tractor. it has great looking tracks/chains and undercarriage. the intake manifold is homemade, but i have the origional. *supposedly* it ran 2 years ago, and was used extensivley for towing firewood out of the woods-i was told by a reliable source. it does not appear to have any "repair" welds.

i am considering selling it as is, or parting it out. does anyone have any advice on what would be better to do, or what it may be worth whole?

thanks

I know I'd be interested if it's not too far away. Depending on how involved you want to get, parting it out may net you more dollars but with a lot of sweat equity invested. I am sure you can find a buyer for the entire machine without too much trouble.

machine is located in central NY state, 5 min off I88

any idea what "going rate" might be for a machine in the noted condition. two different scrap yards have offered $1100 and $1350.

i do not mind taking it apart to part it, if there is interest

chains show next to no wear, just some discoloration, no wear or deformation
