Does anyone know how many 212 graders were built
with R2 serial number and the R2 gas engine?

I don't have any information on numbers, but the serial number would start with 2R instead of R2. This should be a tandem drive chasis, weighing around 12,300 pounds with a 32 hp 4 cylinder gas engine. Went into production in 1939 and ended in 1942 from the information I have. This would have been produced concurrently with the Diesel 212 tandem drive of the 1R and 1U series and the gas single drive 8M series and the diesel single drive 1M
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

The info I have states production from 1940 - 42.
It doesn't state the final production total, just says 63-up for 1942.
