Sounds like rods are drilled to oil the wrist pin?
:doh: I never thought to try 4B0047! Thanks for the help. Yes the rods are drilled to force some oil to the wrist pin bushings.

could you thread them, screw a rod in and use a slide hammer ?

That is another great idea to try. I will tap them and see what happens. Thanks.
Thanks for the help again guys. I was able to tap the pins 1/4-28 and pull the dowel out easily. I also found the replacements and have them ordered.
