It's usually project's that require hard decisions that end up costing a man heart ach and too much money.

I need your input/thoughts on a possible R-4 project. #6g3537 4-10-43. with Le Tourneau Blade.

The good: fair-good undercarriage, blade, war time machine.
The bad: missing head, missing carb, missing mag, engine open for who know's how long, freeze busted block, clutches and rear condition unknown.

So fix or not to fix?

I've thought of finding a replacement engine, prefer to keep it oringinal gas. How hard is it to find one of those in the midwest area? Anyone got a good loose one laying around?

I know it's up to me but like to get your thoughts.

Thanks, Wendell
