Loaded up my D8 Sunday and moved it to my property. I don't own the truck we moved it with nor do I have a CDL.

I'm not sure why the pictures are sideways.

Video of unloading it.

Hi OldRedTim, Here are the pics corrected.

I suggest you turn your phone 90 degrees so the photos/videos are "landscape", your phone was designed to take videos that way and you won't have the large black fields on each side. The photos will also have a larger field of view and the photos should post correctly (this seems to be a iphone thing).

ORT,

Lots of trees now in danger with the 15A around. Good to see the pictures of it working. Thank you.

Those machines may be old. Not as heavy or as much power as a newer one, but they can still get a huge amount of work done.

Not being a professional heavy equipment operator, that cable blades sure is nice when you are back dragging to smooth things out.

It appeared that about half way through the video when you were in a hard push several times, the left track was spinning and the right track was stopped. Is the right steering clutch slipping?

I guess it is. I thought I was just trying to push too much.
It seems to turn fine but if I'm not squared up to whatever I'm pushing the right track will stop and it will try to turn on it's own.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
