I have been cutting down some greening trees for my bother in law. Had to get some of the brush out of the way. The D2 did a nice job and gave a good excuse to get a little seat time. As I was pushing up a couple of the piles, the people next door showed up with their little boy. I was almost done and went over to let the little guy go for a ride but they had already walked away. Couple of poor pics. Once the burn ban gets lifted the piles will get burned, I'll get a little more time to play then. There are 4 piles of this size

See the bold/italics above. Was that intentional or a slip of the finger? LOL.

A kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know.

BTW, thanks for the photos.

You just have to be enjoying seeing all that green grass which was probably recently covered in white. I remember so well the coming of spring when I was a kid in upstate NY after what seemed like 9 months of winter! Nice D2 you have there. Thanks for posting.

This weather is sure nice, but it also brings all of the spring works as well. My wife always comments that we seam to take longer each year getting the spring work done. We spent the whole day working the gardens around the house, I could have sworn the not that many years ago, we could have done it in half the time. I kind of wish there were a little more moderate weather so we could spread out the work some. I do like the late spring summer and fall. Winter is just to be put up with ♈😂

I think there's something to be said for having a proper winter (though maybe not quite as long as ours) because when spring comes, it's absolutely fantastic and everyone's happy. I think if I lived in a more temperate climate I might not appreciate it quite so much. Still, I think we could lop a month or two off winter at the end of it because although we have a decent length fall, spring seems to last just a couple of weeks.
Tim, I have the new dowel for the reverse gear bearing and I had my machinist make another seal collar for the front of the transmission. Now I just have to get out there. If we need to drag that thing out of the workshop, just say the word. Time!! Need about another 3 hours per day...

I finished up cutting today. I guess this was my play day, not like you guys on the west coast. Wish I was there!

I know that it isn't a cat, but my 46 International tractor sure came in handy for cutting up the rest of the trees

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
