Pumpkin Farm Plowdown

This will be a last minute end of season event for Chapter 15. Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm invited us to do some dirty work and smash a few leftover pumpkins and bury them for their winter wheat to be planted.

EDGE TA Branch 13 asked if they could bring some Hit and Miss engines as well as some tractors. Lo and behold, the folks from St. Jude’s Trucking for Kids asked if they could “crash” our event, as they have not had a truck show in 2 years! Word got out to the local IH guys too, so we figured they’re desperate enough to ask, we would let them come play with us as well.

Our hosts asked us to be in place by Saturday November 7th, by 8:00AM. Those wishing to drop off machinery can do so prior to Saturday, the SOUTH side of the big red building. The weather should be very nice that day, but dress accordingly. I am not sure if fire pits are available to rent that evening; event will go until 7:30 PM .

Some of the invaders from ex-Chapter 5 are threatening to have an after party at the Hard Rock Casino located nearby.

This should be a nice year end event for those able to attend. See you there! JM

This should be a great event - I plan on being there, camera in hand. With so many venues, participants, expected guests, spectators, we must be vigilant, keep your attention on your surroundings and be safe. - cts

A light rain today, should help with the dust for a time.

Mark you calendars, 3 days to plan, and the show is on for Saturday.
