I have this old grader, and enjoy maintaining the 1/2 mile of private road to the county road(pulled with D47J). I have been seeing differant pictures of other pull graders and wonder when the change to the single box beam happened. Some have twin beams on top where as mine just has the single used in current design of graders. Was the twin beam Russel's design and the single Cat's improvement?
Just wondering.
