Written by someone whose first language is not English??? Or really in need of proof reading. Someone who knew nothing other than what is written there would be very confused!
I totally agree with ccjersey that this is not very helpful. I have seen better information by watching You Tube vids. I did not even find an reference for using Ni-rod sticks.

my tips: pre heat with for excample oxy-acyt. tourch, use good welding rods like UTP8 for cast iron , weld short distances, hammer direct the weld after welding for relees of stresses caused by the heat. cool down slow the welded piece.

The pieces you repaired are probably the toughest pieces to repair!
