What engine do you have and is it the tool to unscrew the chamber out? Some of the screw in chambers has a serrated area there inside and the Cat tool is just a hex piece of stock that goes down in so you can put a socket on it to remove the chamber. If yours is that style then just get a piece of hex stock and make one.Even a big bolt with a head the right size to go down in you can fabricate it by welding a nut on so you can get a socket on it to turn it out.It seems like I made one up at the shop years ago so I had one handy. Some later chambers were one piece so they took a special tool to get them out with fine serrations on it. You posted thepart numbe you need but my old books don, thave a listing for it.
SJ - The tool that power stroke 99 is looking for is the splined precom tool that is used with the two piece and later one piece precoms.
Power stroke 99 - Your part number is incorrect. The correct P/N is 5F8353. I can't recall your tractor model .. but this guy linked below, on eBay, has the set for the older two-piece precoms, which includes the 5F8353 tool.
Sometimes the 5F8358 tool appears on eBay as an individual purchase, by itself .. but I can't see any FS on eBay right at present.
Try the aftermarket parts suppliers on the parts list such as Regal or Florin, they most likely have the individual 5F8353 tool, if that's all you need.
I found American Crane and Tractor list the 5F8353 as being available in 5 of their warehouses ..

Thanks Oz. I know now which tool he needs and without a tool book I was just guessing what he might have and how he could get them out.I made up lots of tools for myself at the shop and one comes to mind that I made up a little testing stand for air fuel ratio units and then Cat came out with one later to do the same job as mine.
5F8353 tool
You got it OM.They were used in the little later chambers and the early ones used that big hex tool that I said could be made.
Thanks guys.........
