Yes you just need to remove the puley and the front cover for changing the front main bearing
Hey Hector, how have you been?
I might have confused you by saying the front bearing. I meant the one that faces the diesel engine with the crank gear on it. Also can I slide the pony engine up and out, or do I have to remove the frame for the lifting assembly with all the cylinders and arms?

Hi Cobalt Kid,
I have an older style HT4 and successfully removed the pony. There is enough room below the lift crossover frame to hoist the little thing back and out. You must first remove the dash panel and all that other stuff. Leaving the hoses attached, you can tip back the hydraulic crossover manifold to give clearance for the pony to escape. There is a mounting stud in the center front that is almost impossible to see and remove, but it is there.
Good luck.

You need to removed the poney motor , the top manifold, the connecting rods ,the heads, the crankshaft for changing the bearing in the back poney and should not be easy with the loader hoses.
