Any other good sources to get pony head gaskets from, or bite the bullet and go to my favorite Cat Dealer. # 6F4201 Thanks, Joe Van.

I tried Olson's gaskets for my D2, and their prices seemed a bit high ($1500+ for complete set for both Pony and Main engines). There is a whole bunch of gaskets involved though. I bought some gaskets from Cat, and cut the rest myself.

I did get some stuff from Olsons for a 1926 ALF, and wasn't really impressed, but they had the stuff when no one else did. $22.00 is about right for cat gaskets. I have one more place to check in Albany next week. Thanks for the input.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
