Thought I would post a few pics of a local plowing event we had over the weekend, got some exercise chasing my son around the patch

That looks like he had quite some fun! The beauty of it, hopefully when he gets older, he can show the younger ones how it was done. Something tells us you are one proud papa, not too shabby as some would say! I wonder who had more grins, the son or pops?
Looks like you had decent moisture, and not rolling mud. How did the D2 do? 3rd gear or 2nd? Nice matched combination there too. JM

I have a JD Model 44 (2 bottom) that looks similar that I'm restoring to pull behind my D2.

Yes we have had good raines this fall and has made for excellent fall wheat seeding.  3rd gear no problem in these conditions, need a 4 bottom 14in, the 3 bottom 14 is no challenge, but its fun to march along feeling like you have big power and no shifting

Only problem is we need to get the hitch adjusted more to the right, even with the drawbar pinned all the way we still have to drive the track down the furrow, just a few wrenches and a half hour adjustment
