I've just got some cheap piston rings but have no idea what they fit, they were going to the dump, and I didn't want that to happen. Can someone please tell me what engine they suit, P/N are 4F9857 and 9H1290

Thanks

I just tried to edit my post but got a blank box with no words in it, is this normal? I did look on the Machinery Trader website for those 2 part numbers and there is only one supplier for both, and they do not say what they are for.

Does anyone have a NPR that might identify the rings with P/N 9H1290, I have looked at a couple of Cat Dealer websites here in Oz but none show any info on that P/N, like it doesn't exist, and there are no parts, and no info on what they might fit.

Thankyou

Yes I did brian18a, did you read my post? I'm asking about 9H1290, not the 9H1214 you are talking about, they are different part numbers, so I'm assuming they are different parts, unless you are telling me your 9H1214 = my 9H1290??

Thanks

Gday Mike. When i first read Brian’s post the models down the bottom looked like he owns them like alot of people list what they own at the bottom of their post but when i read it again latter the D339 and DW 20 and other models is what you’re part will fit. It tricked me because i just glanced over the post. Mate i hope you have received some of this rain. We have had 76 mm over 3 days and the odd shower still coming through. Cheers. Chris.

Hello Chris, thanks for clarifying brian18a post, as you said I didn't see that info, I assumed they were his tractor collection, my apologies brian18a, and thankyou for the info on the part number, appreciate your help.

We had 3/4" of rain Chris, was needed badly, we had 30 people camping here on the Campaspe River over the long weekend and I had to pull 8 or 9 vehicles out yesterday with the RD4 after the rain fell.

Thanks again
